Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 July 2026

1. Agreement

By using the Mayia website or application, you accept these terms. If you use the service on behalf of a firm or other organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it to these terms.

2. The service

Mayia provides a firm-owned knowledge layer: the Atlas stores the firm's knowledge, loads relevant context into AI conversations, and runs the firm's workflows inside third-party AI tools. Those third-party AI tools are governed by their own terms and subscriptions; Mayia is not responsible for their availability or output.

3. Accounts

You agree to provide accurate account information and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Customer data and intellectual property

The customer owns its Atlas content. Mayia owns the software and grants the customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for the duration of the subscription term.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, reverse engineer the software, or resell the service without our written agreement.

6. Fees

The service is billed as a per-seat subscription as agreed at the time of order. We may change fees with notice ahead of the next billing period.

7. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep the other party's confidential information confidential and to use it only as needed to perform under these terms.

8. Disclaimers

During early access, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated output must be reviewed by a qualified professional before use and does not constitute legal advice.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, each party's liability under these terms is limited. [Liability cap to be confirmed by counsel.]

10. Termination

Either party may terminate as set out in the applicable order. On termination, the customer's right to use the software ends and the customer retains its Atlas content.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of Brussels have exclusive jurisdiction.
